The firm says Yoder will not provide legislative lobbying services during his one-year "cooling off" period.
Yoder, who will begin his new role January 2, represented Indiana’s 12th district in the senate from 2008 to 2016. He announced last year he would not seek reelection in 2016. His seat eventually went to Republican Blake Doriot.
"We could not be more excited about Carlin joining our firm. He brings a new dimension to our team that will only enhance The Corydon Group’s reputation of exemplary client service," said Chris Gibson, managing principal of The Corydon Group. "The Corydon Group is Indiana’s premier independent governmental-affairs firm and to add former Senator Yoder’s deep knowledge of the public policy process will serve our clients very well."
During his time in the Indiana Senate, Yoder served as chairman of the Transportation and Homeland Security Committee and served as a member of several other committees.
