The 5,000-square-foot office at 128 W. Wayne St. will serve as both a headquarters for the independent bank as well as a full-service branch with a drive-up ATM.
F&M Bank provides commercial and retail banking as well as other financial services. The bank has offices in six counties across Northeast Indiana as well as in Ohio and Michigan.
The new Fort Wayne headquarters comes following the recent opening of an Auburn, Indiana, branch. Bank leaders say together, the two new locations serve as a “substantial multimillion-dollar investment” in Allen County. The new Fort Wayne center will employ a dozen people with specializations in commercial banking or lending, personal banking and mortgage lending.
“We look forward to the official opening of our new office in downtown Fort Wayne and serving the surrounding community,” Regional President Andy Baker said in a news release. “We have built a solid, community-focused team here in Northern Indiana and we are excited to further expand our local decision-making, customized financial products, and commitment to exceptional customer service in Fort Wayne.”
The ribbon-cutting will be at 4 p.m. at the Wayne Street location, and the public is invited to attend.
