Suddath Moving & Storage LLC had previously been a part of the network from 1950 to 1981.
Atlas Agents are local moving companies that are affiliated with Atlas Van Lines. The company said the addition of Suddath will expand Atlas’ footprint.
Suddath Moving & Storage has 15 locations and provides residential and commercial moving services, as well as corporate relocation services. The company employs about 700 people.
The company said Atlas stands out as the best van line partner to help Suddath meet its future objectives.
“We are excited to pair Suddath with a van line that brings capability, quality, and flexibility to its Agent-centric business model,” The Suddath Companies CEO Mike Brannigan said in a news release. “We have long admired that Atlas actively seeks Agent engagement and input, from processes to technology, to ensure there is alignment across the enterprise supporting and maintaining its core vision and culture.”
Suddath said its employees can expect minimal impact on their day-to-day activities.
Atlas Van Lines is a subsidiary of Atlas World Group and employs some 300 people.
