Subscribe NowFaegre Baker Daniels has appointed David Barrett to its executive committee, a subset of the management board responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. He is a partner in the firm’s corporate group and co-leads the private companies practice. Barrett helps clients close M&A, joint venture and other transactions and solve corporate problems. He is serving in his third term on the management board.
Andrew Bauman has joined the firm’s consulting division as an advisor in the Indianapolis office, where he partners with clients to develop and execute Indiana government relations strategies. He helps clients advance goals and prepare for and respond to regulatory developments, advocating on behalf of companies and organizations before Indiana government representatives, agencies and regulatory bodies.
Bauman previously spent 13 years as a government specialist in Indiana. Most recently, he served as a reading clerk in the Indiana State Senate, where he read bills, reports, messages and other correspondences and acted as an intermediary between state representatives and the lieutenant governor. Bauman also served as a legislative assistant to two state senators. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ball State University.
