The mayor’s office has launched a survey in which residents can give their thoughts on city priorities, city services, and the city in general.
The survey is part of the strategic planning process that Terry’s administration has begun with Chicago-based public accounting, consulting and technology firm Crowe LLP.
“We entered into this Strategic Planning process because we want to make sure that we have clear direction and focused priorities, and to ensure that we are operating efficiently as a city government,” Terry said in a news release. “A clear piece of that is listening to and understanding the experiences, the concerns, and the priorities of the people who live and work in our community.”
Last month, the city announced it had signed a contract with Crowe to develop the strategic plan. The mayor said the effort aims to access the city’s current operations and create a plan to “move Evansville forward.”
The process to create the plan is expected to take about five months to complete. The plan is expected to be released to the public before the end of the year.
