The casino has opened the Bally Bet Sportsbook in conjunction with the launch of Bally Bet mobile sports betting in Indiana.
The casino did not disclose its financial investment in the new sportsbook, which will be open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Central Time.
The new sportsbook is located at the former William Hill Sportsbook inside the casino.
“We are very proud to offer our Bally Bet mobile sportsbook in Indiana, a state with a coveted sports history and a legion of loyal fans,” Bally’s Corp. President George Papanier said in a news release. “I would like to thank the State of Indiana for its collaboration throughout this process, and I would also like to recognize our team members for their contributions to this for this opportunity.”
The casino is also preparing to open the new Ball Bet Sportsbook & Bar at the former Tap House restaurant. When it opens, it will include multiple screens for sports viewing, three betting windows, and six kiosks, as well as a new dining menu and 36 beers on tap.
A specific timeline for the sportsbook & bar’s opening was not released.
Bally’s Evansville Casino opened in 2017 as the state’s first land-based casino, following legislation in 2015 allowing Indiana’s riverboat casinos to move on land.
The casino was originally known as Tropicana Evansville and was rebranded after Bally’s Corp. acquired the venue from Caesars Entertainment in 2021.
