The facility, which is operated by Ohio-based NewVista Behavioral Health, currently has 20 employees and plans are in place to add about 100 new employees.
The campus underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and features a 42-bed acute psychiatric hospital and 46-bed residential, inpatient SUD unit. The company says the facility will offer mental health and SUD treatment, as well as outpatient addiction treatment programs.
“We are extremely proud to bring this all-encompassing behavioral health campus to the Indianapolis area,” said NewVista president and CEO, Isaac Rosedale. “What is particularly unique about this campus is that it contains both an acute psychiatric hospital and a residential treatment center. From the healing environment and our extraordinary team to our specialized and integrated care options, Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis provides the optimal place for patients to begin the recovery and healing journey, starting with detox through all levels of outpatient care. We believe that the ability to care for the entire continuum on the addiction spectrum will bring the very best care to every patient we serve.”
Ethan Crossing will also offer full-service outpatient services.
“Mental health and addiction service needs continue to not only rise across the country but here in Indiana as well,” said Erica Wehrmeister, CEO of Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis. “Our entire team is looking forward to supporting our fellow Hoosiers in their journey toward improved mental health and sobriety. It is our mission to inspire hope, restore peace of mind and heal lives.”
Ethan Crossing is the first NewVista facility in Indiana and the company says it intends on growing its presence in the Hoosier State.
