The contract calls for the production of an additional 126,000 sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers.
ERAPSCO is a joint venture between Columbia City-based Ultra Maritime, a subsidiary of Ultra Electronics Holdings plc formerly known as USSI, and Illinois-based Sparton Corp.
The DoD says the extension adds scope and increases the contract ceiling for the production of sonobuoys. Just over half the work will be performed in Florida, with about 46% being performed in Columbia City.
Work is expected to be complete in September 2025.
The Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland is the contracting activity.
