Entrepreneurs Launch Fishers Development Firm

Subscribe NowA trio of central Indiana-based entrepreneurs has launched a real estate development firm in Fishers. Rebar Development has opened its office in the city’s Nickel Plate District and will focus on commercial real estate projects with cities, towns and business owners.
The firm is the result of a partnership among Shelby Bowen, Jerry Ewing and Jim Ratliff, who make up the executive team.
"We are very excited to combine our decades of experience and announce the launch of Rebar Development," said Bowen, who serves as president of the firm. "With vast experience working with cities and towns across the Midwest, our team is uniquely situated to partner with communities, landowners, and investors, to create long-term value for our partners while building vibrant places in which people want to work, create, and live."
Bowen will be responsible for pursing new partnership opportunities with municipalities, business owners and financial partners. Ewing will lead the firm’s corporate business initiatives, including sales, marketing and client services. Ratliff will be manage the firm’s investment and banking strategies.
The Rebar team has served on development teams for a variety of public-private partnerships over the past 10 years, including the Nickel Plate District, Carmel City Center, and Main Street in Speedway.
