Manchester Alive Main Street Chamber says the event intends to provide guidance and showcase available tools that are available for startups and small businesses.
The chamber organization is associated with the NIIC Catalyze Northeast Indiana Pilot Program.
“The opportunity to partner with the NIIC and Grow Wabash County is a phenomenal way to extend support to the entrepreneurs who will indelibly change the trajectory of our local economy. We are excited to use these services as a new and innovative way to support the business owners that call North Manchester home,” said Heather Cruz, executive director of Manchester Alive.
The Catalyze Program provides startups access to events, workshops, and tactics for innovative entrepreneurship through a partnership with NEXT Studios.
The partners, which includes Grow Wabash County, say the collaborative effort aligns with the county’s overall strategy for economic growth.
It’s also in response to the county’s Imagine One 85 plan, the comprehensive strategy for reversing population decline in Wabash County.
“Communities with a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem are well-positioned for growth and prosperity,” said Alex Downard, implementation director for Imagine One 85. “This program will support entrepreneurs across the entrepreneurial spectrum, including residents with a concept looking to further develop a business plan, as well as help our existing businesses re-imagine strategies for growth and development.”
The callout event for entrepreneurs is April 25 from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m., at the Community Foundation of Wabash County.
