The company this month purchased Missouri-based Advanced Personnel, which came just weeks after its acquisition of IES Custom Staffing Solutions in Idaho.
Financial terms of the deals are not being disclosed. Elwood said Tuesday it plans to rebrand the companies under the Elwood name.
The deals bring Elwood’s total number of acquisitions since its founding in 1980 to 18. President Diane Bohman said the effort is part of an aggressive national growth strategy.
“We are pushing hard to expand our footprint across the country,” Bohman said in written remarks. “We opened 10 new branches last year, and we plan to open even more in 2023.”
A spokesperson for Elwood told Inside INdiana Business the acquired companies employed hundreds of people, all of whom are transitioning to Elwood, though a specific number was not provided.
Elwood Staffing has more than 275 locations across the country, including more than two dozen throughout Indiana, where it employs about 3,600 Hoosiers.
