Columbus-based Elwood Staffing has acquired Pennsylvania-based Berks & Beyond Employment Services Inc. While financial details were not disclosed, Elwood Staffing says Berks & Beyond’s sales and service staff will remain in place.

Elwood says the acquisition includes 15 Berks and Beyond branch offices in Pennsylvania. Berks and Beyond’s founder, Chris Garner, will remain as regional vice president.

"We are pleased to welcome Berks and Beyond into the Elwood Staffing family," says Mark Elwood, chief executive officer of Elwood Staffing. "The most noticeable changes stemming from this relationship will be service enhancements. Employers, associates, and job seekers will all benefit from Elwood’s national footprint, expert resources, and broad service capabilities."

Elwood says the acquisition brings its number of service location throughout the country to more than 250.
