Downtown Indy to host manufacturing conference

Subscribe NowWisconsin-based venture firm and startup accelerator gener8tor will this week host the OnRamp Manufacturing Conference at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. In partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corp., the two-day conference will highlight innovation and leaders in the manufacturing industry.
gener8tor says more than 50 startups and 30 corporate sponsors and investors are set to attend, including representatives from global firms such as Kohler, Rockwell Automation and The Heritage Group.
The conference will kick off with the 2022 cohorts of the gBETA Industry 4.0, 5G Technology, and Energy/Sustainability accelerators pitching to investors.
“Indiana sees incredible value in building and supporting an ecosystem where innovators in these fast-moving and high-tech industries can thrive,” Julie Heath, vice president of IEDC Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, said in written remarks. “Through the IEDC partnership of the OnRamp Manufacturing Conference as well as the gBETA industry-specific accelerator programs, the IEDC and the state of Indiana are committed to the continued support for hardtech, bringing Indiana one step closer to the economy of the future.”
