Hendricks Commercial Properties says a nearly $500,000 sidewalk and crosswalk project provides key connectivity between residential and commercial developments in the high-traffic area.
Indianapolis Deputy Mayor of Community Development Jeff Bennett says the $460,000 project provides "essential connectivity between the Nora neighborhood and Keystone commercial area" and improves pedestrian safety by installing new crosswalks. The 1,140-foot sidewalk begins at Ironworks and runs along the south side of 86th Street.
The 100,000-square-foot Ironworks Hotel Indy is next to the Ironworks mixed-use apartment and retail complex near the Fashion Mall on the north side of Indianapolis. It features 120 guest rooms and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
Hendricks Commercial Properties is also behind the $260 million Bottleworks District at the site of the former Coca-Cola bottling plant in downtown Indianapolis, which broke ground in June.
