Developer Named for The Wedge in Fort Wayne

The city of Fort Wayne has named the developer that will oversee construction of a mixed-use complex at The Wedge at Promenade Park. Indianapolis-based Barret & Stokely Inc. will drive the $51 million project that includes residential, retail and outdoor dining.
Barrett & Stokely and the city have worked together on other high-profile projects, including The Riverfront at Promenade Park and The Lofts at Headwaters Park.
“They have proven their ability to design and deliver high-quality projects that add to the fabric of our Riverfront. We look forward to the completion of another stunning addition to our city in partnership with Barrett & Stokely,” said Jonathan Leist, deputy director of redevelopment.
The 2.2-acre site is located northwest of Promenade Park on the north side of the Saint Marys River and connected to the park by the old Wells Street Bridge.
Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
