The new location is at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Batesville, about 24 miles west of Bright and 47 miles west of Cincinnati, according to a news release from its parent company, Boardwalk Restaurant Holdings.
The new location, 850 N. Walnut St., is expected to employ about 45 people. Owners Matt Euson and Nick and Meagan Roberts said the project is the result of a six-figure investment.
The owners said in the release that they appreciate the country club for giving them an opportunity to serve the Batesville community.
Hillcrest Golf and Country Club President Seth Shields said his organization is looking forward to the partnership, as well. “We are humbled to be in the position to serve as stewards for our community and understand how important this amenity is to Batesville and the surrounding area,” Shields said in the news release.
Shift Restaurant and Bar has operated in Bright for about six years. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner, a full-service bar and entertainment. The menu consists of American cuisine, including sandwiches, salads, burgers and steaks, as well as tacos, flatbreads and appetizers.
The owners have not yet announced a date for the Batesville restaurant’s opening or the location’s hours of operation.
