Colorado Company to Acquire Intelligent Fiber Network

Subscribe NowColorado-based Zayo Group Holdings Inc. is looking to add Intelligent Fiber Network in Indianapolis to its portfolio. Zayo, which provides fiber network infrastructure throughout North America and in parts of western Europe, did not immediately disclose financial terms of the deal.
IFN provides fiber connectivity across multiple Hoosier markets, including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Terre Haute and South Bend.
Zayo did not specifically say if any jobs would be affected. However, Chief Financial Officer Matt Steinfort said in a news release IFN’s team and assets will aid the company’s efforts “to accelerate growth as we look to capitalize on the enterprise opportunity within our network reach.”
IFN Chief Executive Officer Jim Turner says the acquisition will allow IFN to significantly enhance its reach and value to customers.
The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of the year, pending regulatory approvals.
