Military Vet Named to Purdue Board of Trustees

She is a retired major general in the United States Air Force. During Carter’s 31-year military career, she became the first female promoted to one-star general within her career field and then later received a second star. Carter is a 1985 Purdue graduate with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering.
