Expansion plans are underway for C&A Tool Engineering MinbeaMitsumi Inc. in Churubusco. The company will add manufacturing, research and development and information technology equipment. The plans also include 20 new jobs.

The contract manufacturer works with the transportation, aeronautical, medical and other industries and has more than 500 employees and four plants in northeastern Indiana. “Our overall business continues to grow with specific opportunities in aerospace and medical, with additive manufacturing technologies and advanced machining capability,” said C&A Tool President Rob Marr.

The Churubusco Town Council recently approved a 10-year tax abatement for the new expansion.
