Chairman of the Board Jim Davis has retired after eight years in the role and 30 years with the industrial and heavy commercial construction company.
President and Chief Executive Officer Brian Acton moved into the role of Chairman of the Board at the first of the year, while remaining CEO.
“Since 1955, our strategic philosophy per our founder, Jack Baker, has always been based on creating clear paths of succession so all future colleagues at BMWC can understand what’s necessary to prepare their careers for the future. Today we have taken another important step toward continuing that vision and I’m proud to be part of it,” Acton said.
Chris Buckman is now President and Chief Operating Officer following his promotion from Vice President of Corporate Construction. The company states Buckman’s work establishing a national footprint and managing the company’s growth into cost-saving technologies and new service lines were factors leading to the leadership changes.
