Bluegrass Supply Chain to cut ribbon on Jeffersonville facility

The company has invested $16 million to build and equip the facility, which is expected to bring 25 new jobs to the area.
Plans for the facility at at 1220 Bridgeport Drive were first announced by One Southern Indiana in May 2023. Bluegrass Supply Chain developed the building in partnership with Bridgeport Partners REIG LLC.
The company also operates two facilities in the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville and Charlestown. Those locations employ about 90 full-time and 100 seasonal workers.
The new jobs come with an average hourly wage of $27.22, which is above the average hourly wage for Clark County, 1si said last year.
Representatives from Bluegrass Supply Chain, the city of Jeffersonville, and 1si will cut the ribbon on the new location during an event at 12 p.m. Thursday.
