Brooks began his new role in November. Prior to joining Bloomington Meadows, he served as vice president for Community HealthLink, a provider of mental health, substance abuse, rehabilitation, homeless and related services based in Worcester, Massachusetts.
“I’m excited to build upon the 30 years of service Bloomington Meadows Hospital brings to the state of Indiana and its dedicated employees,” Brooks said in a news release. “It’s such a pleasure to be part of Bloomington and the central Indiana communities that we serve.”
Bloomington Meadows is a 78-bed facility that provides behavioral health care services, including inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient medication management.
Brooks succeeds Christine Schultz, who in August was announced as the new CEO of Recovery Center of America’s behavioral health treatment facility in Indianapolis.
No stranger to Indiana, Brooks earned a master’s degree in management and bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Oakland City University in Gibson County. He also has a master’s degree and doctorate in psychology from Northcentral University in Arizona.
