The Reynolds facility has been producing wild bird seed for over 40 years and was acquired by Global Harvest 10 years ago. Currently, 140 people work at the plant, the majority of whom live in White County, the company said.
Global Harvest has additional manufacturing facilities in Colorado, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Washington.
