Bargersville Company Part of Major Military Contract

Subscribe NowA company in Bargersville is one of 12 to receive a combined $300 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense. Custom Mechanical Systems Corp. will take part in the design and construction of new facilities and infrastructure for the U.S. Air Force.
The contract also calls for the repair and renovation or restoration of existing facilities and infrastructure. The work is expected to be complete by November of 2021.
CMS has performed similar work for the military in the past. The company oversaw the transformation of a former grade school into a Marine Corps Reserve Center in Brook Park, Ohio. That facility now serves 400 Marines, according to the company’s website.
The contract includes other companies in seven states, including California, Virginia, Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah and Mississippi. The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron in San Antonio, Texas is the contracting activity.
