Ameriqual Packaging in Evansville has been awarded a $100 million contract to provide ready-to-eat meals to the U.S. Department of Defense. The meals will be produced for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.

SOPACKO of South Carolina and the Wornick Co. in Cincinnati also received contracts totaling more than $275 million. The individual pork-free/humanitarian daily rations will be produced in Indiana, South Carolina and Ohio, with an ordering period end date of November 1, 2026.

The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia.
