American Legion Auxiliary names executive director

Subscribe NowThe American Legion Auxiliary, which is headquartered in Indianapolis, has named Sara Riegel executive director. The organization says she’s been serving in the role on an interim basis for several months.
Riegel, who joined the ALA national headquarters in 2011, is responsible for HQ staff and operations, fiscal management, and working with the governing board.
“We are confident Sara possesses the qualifications and abilities that will serve the American Legion Auxiliary, along with those we are dedicated to serve at this significant point in our history,” said ALA National President Vickie Koutz.
In previous roles, Riegel has served as ALA national treasurer, compliance officer, and managerial roles within the finance division.
The American Legion Auxiliary is made-up of volunteers, serving veterans, military, and their families.
