Ambrose is planning to have four Class A industrial buildings at Cincinnati Logistics Park–Airport West available for retail clients starting in 2025.
The new buildings will be built in near I-275 and Graves Road in Burlington, Kentucky—about six miles from the Indiana border and just west of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
In a news release, Ambrose said two of the four buildings are already in development and will each be around 250,000 square feet. The company says both buildings will seek LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.
Ambrose Vice President of Development and Midwest Marketing Officer Stephen Lindley said the location for the new park was chosen because of its proximity to the Cincinnati airport—one of the 10 largest cargo airports in the U.S.—as well as an interstate system. A number of freight companies like Amazon, DHL and FedEx also operate nearby.
Ambrose is contracting with Bristol General Contractors to build the four buildings in the new park and has taken out a loan for the construction costs with JPMorgan Chase.
“We are excited to continue expanding Ambrose’s portfolio in the Cincinnati market,” Lindley wrote in the release. “Cincinnati Logistics Park–Airport West is a great opportunity for modern logistics users, offering easy access to three interstates by means of I-275 and close proximity to the 7th largest cargo airport in North America.”
