Straight Line employs nearly 80 workers, all of whom are being retained with the acquisition, adding to Ambassador Supply’s 18 employees, a spokesperson told Inside INdiana Business.
“We’ve been searching for the right opportunity within the metal building space for some time, and the combination of geographic location, thoughtful business practices, and comprehensive customer service made Straight Line Metal Buildings the perfect fit,” Ambassador Supply CEO Brad Crawford said in a news release.
Ambassador Supply is an investment and management company specializing in the residential and commercial construction industry.
Straight Line manufactures a variety of metal buildings, including steel homes, mini-storage buildings, and modular offices, as well as components and other products.
“Joining forces with Ambassador Supply will allow us to expand our capabilities and further develop the most advanced information, engineering, manufacturing and delivery systems available – all while providing the same level of service to our partners,” said Straight Line Metal Buildings President Steven Poorman.
Ambassador Supply said the acquisition brings the number of design and building-focused companies under its umbrella to 13 throughout the country.
The company said it will continue to expand through strategic investments in the residential and commercial construction; lumber and building materials; development, manufacturing, and distribution; and building technology industries.
