AM General Contract Involves Humvee Engines

Subscribe NowSOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend-based AM General LLC has secured a more than $30.5 million U.S. Department of Defense contract. The deal involves Humvee engines and is expected to be complete over the next three years.
The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Marine in Michigan.
In late April, AM General announced a $41.6 million contract modification that involved more than 200 Humvees. In March, the company announced a partnership with the U.S. Tank Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center to develop autonomous military vehicles.
