The company, which has developed a marketing automation platform, has acquired California-based Onesend, though financial terms are not being disclosed.
Onesend has developed a suite of tools that provides support for resellers, franchise, and multi-location businesses with management of email campaigns, automations and content across multiple accounts.
ActiveCampaign said incorporating Onesend’s tools into its own platform will help expedite the company’s global growth.
CEO Jason VandeBoom said Onesend has been a key partner for his company since it joined ActiveCampaign’s partner program in 2020.
“Their strong data and analytics capabilities and combined 20+ years of experience in working with multi-location organizations, paired with our customer data and marketing automation capabilities, are unmatched in the market,” VandeBoom said in a news release. “This acquisition addresses dozens of partner portal ideas that have come directly from partners and customers, so we are confident the businesses we work with will see an immediate, positive impact from this partnership.”
All three members of Onesend’s team will relocate to the ActiveCampaign’s Chicago headquarters. The company currently employs more than 900 people globally.
ActiveCampaign first established its Indianapolis operations in 2019 with a $10 million investment. In late 2021, the company announced plans for an expanded Indy hub.
