Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report Munster-based 3 Floyds Brewing plans to bring its annual Dark Lord Day, which has been held in a virtual format since the pandemic began, back to its traditional, in-person event in the spring.
Dark Lord Day celebrates the release of the brewery’s popular Dark Lord Imperial Stout, which is only available once a year. The festival draws thousands from across the country and features live music from death metal bands, food trucks, and visitors who trade rare bottles of craft beer, according to the publication.
3 Floyds began selling its Dark Lord beer online on Wednesday and is offering $160 packages that include two bottles of 2022 Dark Lord Imperial Stout, two bottles of a 2022 barrel-aged Dark Lord variant, and a pre-sale code to purchase tickets for next year’s Dark Lord Day.
The brewery is also selling $75 packages that include one bottle of Dark Lord Imperial Stout from each of the last three years.
