Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology mechanical engineering student Ruth Hammond has been recognized as an Apple Scholar. She is among three U.S. college students receiving the recognition. Recipients receive a $15,000 scholarship, technology package and participation in an Apple immersion event. Hammond will be attending KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden before beginning a software engineering research internship this summer with IBM’s Future of Climate global initiative.
