Medical Device Maker Completes Move to Indiana

Subscribe NowRAZOR Medical Instruments Inc. says it has completed the relocation of company headquarters from New Hampshire to Warsaw. The medical instrument and technology company announced plans in February to invest $3.5 million and relocate to the “Orthopedic Capital of the World.”
The company is developing single-use instruments for the orthopedic joint replacement industry.
“Northeastern Indiana offers an impressive concentration of resources in the medical device field,” said Bruce Khalili, president of RAZOR. “Being in Warsaw is a strategic move for RAZOR. It permits us to leverage the availability of technical talent and manufacturing expertise in the field of medical devices.”
The Kosciusko County Economic Development Corp. says some employees have already relocated to the area, and RAZOR plans to hire more than 60 additional employees over the next three years.
“Their leaders share our passion for the orthopedics sector and ensuring the future of the industry runs through our community,” said KEDCO Chief Executive Officer Alan Tio.
KEDCO says RAZOR has worked closely with AcceLINX, a musculoskeletal health business accelerator. The nonprofit is helping the medical device company by refining its regulatory and marketing programs as it prepares to bring its products to market.
