Financial terms of the deal for digital document transformation company Conga were not immediately disclosed, however Apttus says the combined company will continue under the Conga brand.
Apttus says the new company will combine two Software-as-a-Service businesses with a total of about $400 million in annual revenue.
Apttus Chief Executive Officer Frank Holland will lead the combined company as CEO while former Conga CEO Matthew Schilz will join the company’s board of managers. Nikitas Koutoupes, managing director of Conga majority stakeholder Insight Partners, will also join the board.
“Apttus and Conga are people-first businesses with core values that fit together seamlessly, and both are fueled by an inherent drive to succeed,” Holland said in a news release. “Combined, we’ll continue to deliver the same dedication to customer service, innovation and culture as we have in the past.”
The executive team for the new company will consist of people from both Conga and Apttus. The companies did not state whether any Indiana employees would be affected by the deal.
Conga, which is headquartered in Colorado, entered the Indianapolis market in 2018 when it acquired sales technology company Octiv.
Earlier this year, Conga was named to the Best Places to Work in Indiana list by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
