Wahlburgers, a hamburger restaurant made famous by its Hollywood star power, is coming to Carmel. The Boston-area chain was started by Paul Wahlberg and his more famous acting brothers Mark and Donnie.

It will be located at a new mixed-use development called the Proscenium at the corner of Rangeline Road and Carmel Drive. This is the first Indiana location.

“We couldn’t be more excited by this collaboration and to be a part of bringing Wahlburgers to Indiana,” said Tony Birkla, Proscenium developer and founder of Novo Development Group. “This is the type of anchor tenant a developer dreams of. Wahlburgers will make the Proscenium an even more desirable location.”

The Proscenium is an $85 million development which includes 196 luxury residential units, 26 luxury condos, 20,000 square feet of retail space, 100,000 square feet of office space and 26 luxury condos. Construction is expected to be completed in 2020.

Michigan-based ACW Franchise Group is the largest franchisee of Wahlburgers, including the Carmel location.
