Conexus, Pacers Announce STEM Fest Grants

Subscribe NowNine schools have earned grants from the Pacers Foundation following the Indiana Pacers 2018 STEM Fest. Conexus Indiana, the state’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative, says the funding went to the schools with the highest attendance at this year’s event.
STEM Fest, which took place in February, involved more than 40 business, nonprofit and education organizations. The event drew attendees from 130 schools from throughout the state. The Pacers Foundation awarded $2,000 to the school with the highest attendance, with each of the other eight schools winning $1,000 to support STEM in their classrooms.
The grants will allow the schools to purchase kits to be used for STEM activities. The winning schools include:
- Forest Glen Elementary School, Indianapolis
- Fishback Creek Public Academy, Indianapolis
- Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, Indianapolis
- Avon Intermediate School West, Avon
- St. Roch Catholic School, Indianapolis
- Doe Creek Middle School, New Palestine
- Our Lady of Providence Junior-Senior High School, Clarksville
- Grant Line Elementary School, New Albany
- Hamilton Southeastern Intermediate/Junior High, Fishers
