Fort Wayne Announces Façade Grants

The city says it will invest a total of about $250,000 into the projects at 10 local companies located on well-traveled corridors throughout Fort Wayne.
As part of the grant awards, the selected property owners have pledged to invest more than $765,000 in private dollars to upgrade their building façades. Mayor Tom Henry says, over the years, the grants have played a part in "transforming our business corridors and helping revitalize the surrounding neighborhoods."
Henry introduced the program in 2008. Since then, the city has awarded about $1.7 million in funding, leading to more than $4.3 million in private investment. The 2018 Commercial Façade Grant recipients are:
