Henry says each suite is paired with a prominent former Indians player or manager, and the suite level now includes a wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor timeline of Indians history. The project marks the latest upgrades to Victory Field. Projects last off-season, totaling $2.4 million, included new video displays, an enhanced audio system and new high-definition video production capabilities.
The Indians open the 2018 season at home on Friday, April 6 against the Columbus Clippers. The Indians led Minor League Baseball in attendance last season, drawing more than 641,000 fans. That marked the second consecutive year the Indians topped the league in attendance. The team also reported a record year for charitable giving in 2017, contributing nearly $500,000 in fundraising and donations to central Indiana organizations.
