Goshen College Names New VP

Vendrely will lead the college’s academic programs after serving the last four years as associate provost and associate vice president for academic affairs at Governors State University in Illinois.
Vendrely will provide leadership to faculty and academic strategic planning in her new role -“I am so energized by the possibilities and opportunities as I look forward to helping move the new vision and growth potential of Goshen College forward.” Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus says Vendrely’s more than 20 years of experience will benefit the college “Her extensive teaching, administrative and research experience, expertise and success will be invaluable as she helps us shape our curriculum and academic program offerings for the needs of our students, our community and the broader world.”
Vendrely’s role will begin on July 1. She will report directly to the president and will also serve on the president’s cabinet. She succeeds Jo-Ann Brant and Ross Peterson-Veatch, who served as interim vp’s for academic affairs and academic dean following the retirement of Anita Stalter in 2015.
