The email signature marketing platform says it also grew its team from 26 to 46 last year.
One of the company’s biggest 2017 successes came in August, when it announced a $5 million round of funding. It came from organizations including Hyde Park Venture Partners and High Alpha Capital. At the time, the company said the funding would allow it to grow its product, sales and marketing teams.
Sigstr says it helped generate more than 625 million marketing impressions throughout 2017, and believes it is on track to top one billion impressions in 2018. Other prominent customers include ANGI Homeservices Inc. (Nasdaq: ANGI), California Closets and United Way.
The company says its employee growth last year was primarily in its sales and engineering functions. Key executive hires included Chief Executive Officer Bryan Wade, Vice President of Marketing Justin Keller, Vice President of Engineering Robert Harris and Vice President of Customer Success John Klein.
In 2016, Sigstr announced plans to invest nearly $1.5 million to double its downtown Indianapolis footprint and add up to 111 jobs. The company was the first to launch from the High Alpha venture studio.
