He will succeed Bob Heuchan. Coffey most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He has served as COO since 1998, executive vice president since 1999 and CFO from 2011 to July 2017.
Coffey, a graduate of Franklin College, began his banking career more than three decades ago, spending the last two decades on the bank’s management team. Prior to Mutual, he served as vice president and branch administrator for Home Federal Savings Bank, now Old National Bank, as well as assistant vice president of Union Federal Savings Bank, now Huntington Bank.
