Women’s Conference Again Attracts Global Talent

The event, now in its seventh year, will feature speakers including Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton and Chanel Global Chief Executive Officer Maureen Chiquet. It will also include a pitch competition, organized by The Startup Ladies, and networking opportunities. The conference drew more than 1,200 people last year.
During an interview last month on Inside INdiana Business Television, Startup Ladies founder Kristen Cooper, who was joined by Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) executive Melina Kennedy, said the conference is for women of "every age, every stage of life."
The pitch session will feature finalists making presentations to a group of judges, including TechPoint Chief Executive Officer Mike Langellier, Jackie Dimonte with Hyde Park Ventures, NextLevel Managing Partner Barb Cutillo and VisionTech Partners Founder Oscar Moralez.
The finalists include:
- Caitlin Coffman, Founder and CEO of care provider and family interface app trend.ly
- Stephanie Corliss, Co-Founder and COO/CFO of SnapShyft, a mobile platform that connects food and beverage venues with qualified service industry professionals
- Marie Maher, founder of Synapse Sitters LLC, an online community that connects families with caregivers equipped to handle children with Down syndrome and autism
- Christine McDonnell, Co-Founder and CEO of technology education firm Codelicious
Organizers say the Indiana Conference For Women is the largest of its kind in the Midwest.
