She is founder of Indianapolis-based Hathaway Strategies and previously served as chief of staff for the Republican National Committee.
Hathaway Strategies specializes in public and governmental affairs consulting. Hathaway is chair of the Julian Center Board and serves on the boards of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
The Illinois native will succeed Kathy Heuer, who announced in May that she would retire this year. Heuer says Hathaway will be a "tremendous addition" to the organization, saying her leadership will keep the organization "well-situated to see continued growth for both our membership and our activities."
"I’m honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the Indiana Medical Device Manufacturers Council," Hathaway said. "I look forward to implementing the newly completed Strategic Plan, and promoting an industry that has a major impact on our state."
