Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has broken ground on its third location in the Indianapolis metro area, with plans to hire about 80 workers.
The company plans to open the Indianapolis location by the end of the year. Freddy’s opened its first restaurant in the area, a location in Carmel, in December. A second location will open this fall in Franklin.
While the chain did not release specific financial numbers for the project, a spokesman for the company says the investment to open a location ranges from nearly $600,000 to about $2 million.
Freddy’s also has Indiana locations in Evansville and Columbus.
