Ivy Tech Community College is partnering with Indianapolis-based Damar Services Inc. on a degree and certificate completion program. The school says the Achieve Your Degree initiative allows employees of the nonprofit who want to take classes to avoid up-front tuition expenses.

Damar has nearly 1,000 employees in and around Indianapolis. The organization provides services to children and adults with autism and intellectual, developmental and behavioral disabilities. In addition to financial aid, the program will offer employees application assistance and academic advising services.

Damar Chief Human Resources Officer Jennifer Mann says she is excited about the opportunities the program offers to employees, saying it comes on top of the organization’s $3,000 annual tuition benefit. The program is available to all employees, starting with the 2017 fall semester, which begins next week.

Ivy Tech partners with multiple companies and organizations on the Achieve Your Degree program, offering more than 150 degree and certificate options.
