Doug Leonard, president of the Indiana Hospital Association, says he will retire in June 2017. He has served as president since 2007. The IHA says during Leonard’s tenure, he helped improve patient care and guided the association through the implementations of the Affordable Care Act and the Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0. He also created the MyCareInsight.org website, giving consumers quality and charge data for hospitals throughout Indiana. Before being named president of the IHA, Leonard spent 30 years at Columbus Regional Hospital, including 10 years as chief executive officer. The IHA Board of Directors has formed a search committee to find a successor.
