The $3.2 million project is expected to begin next month.
The renovation will include a new floor plan layout, updated finishes, and new or refreshed mechanical, engineering and plumbing systems. 7Gen says IUSB has also integrated new technology for building access, security and communication systems.
"This project represents a significant win for our company and provides us with an opportunity to exceed the expectations of a new client in IUSB," said Robert Farkas, president of 7Gen. "This is their flagship building and we couldn’t be more excited to deliver a high quality project for the students and staff."
7Gen says while the renovation is being done, students will continue to have full access to the Bursar’s office and the ATMs on the first floor. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
