The new facility will accommodate an increase in production for the KGP’s planned in-factory fiber optic cable splicing work. The increased production will allow KGP to offer 75 new assembly jobs with expected growth to 140 employees by 2017.
“We are excited about this expansion of a company in the critical field of high technology telecommunications,” said George Robertson, President of Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation.
The new production work is the result of several new contracts acquired by the company in 2015. KGP’s facilities have been in operation in Warsaw since its acquisition of EMBARQ Logistics in 2009.
