The companies and organizations will be recognized at Centric’s Day of Innovation Conference next month at Butler University.
Centric says the awards honor individuals and organizations that are "successfully leading the innovation charge in our state."
This year’s winners are:
Noblesville High School (Noblesville) – Don Wettrick’s innovation class for students modeled after Google’s 20% time
Goodwill Education Initiatives (Indianapolis) – Excel Center adult education program for former dropouts to earn their diploma. It started in Indiana but has exploded across the US.
Greenlight.Guru (Indianapolis) – Quality management software that helps small medical device manufacturers navigate the compliance process and get to market faster
Sustainable Nutrition International (Carmel) – Nutra-Iso nutritional supplement derived from rice bran that can affordably remediate infant and child malnutrition in 3rd world environments
Sani Seal (Indianapolis) – Sani Seal toilet gasket that eliminates the need for a wax ring when installing a toilet
Extension Healthcare (Fort Wayne) – Extension Engage is a next generation alarm safety and event response platform used by hospitals to reduce alarm and nursing interruption fatigue
3D Parts and Manufacturing (Indianapolis) – 1st Maker Space is an after-school program for underprivileged students to learn design and 3D manufacturing processes
RDM Aquaculture (Fowler) – Non-capital-intensive system for shrimp farming that supplies post larval shrimp (PLS) to 18 of 25 existing shrimp farms in the US
Techshot (Greenville) – Bone Densitometer is the first X-Ray bone densitometer for use in space
