If the campaign reaches its $50,000 fundraising goal by August 23rd, 2024, the IHCDA will match the funds of the project as part of its CreatINg Places program.
“We are thrilled to install this amphitheater at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve and we value the opportunity to partner with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority’s CreatINg Places program to bring another community resource to Meadowbrook for all to enjoy,” Shirley Heinz Land Trust Executive Director Kristopher Krouse said in a news release.
The funds from the campaign will be used to design and install an amphitheater, benches, a bandshell, and improve access to the amphitheater area in the Valparaiso nature preserve.
To date, the campaign has raised more than $28,000. You can view the campaign here.
The IHCDA’s CreatINg Places program was launched in 2016, and has since contributed $8.9
million in matching grants to projects that met their crowdfunding goals.
